Water is still to warm, There is still little bait for the Shad populations since the big Stockton kill ... and they are relasing the lake waters down the Moke still to be sucked up through the Pumps @ Tracy.
Some people in charge/political power never even released the water down the Sac River~~ and could care less about our Salmon spawn.
Everything now is political. If you want the bigger linesiders you have to go down to San Pablo bay still. Or Grizzy and Honker bays for the #8 to #9 schoolies. The party boats already did the surf fishing 4+ weeks ago when they first entered the bay. There ain't enoufgh bait in the bay to sustain them and they sure in the hell are not sniffing any shad oils to entice them up any further ......Only to be met by big arsed Sea Lions @ bouy #4 !!
Hopefully this weather pattern can turn cold and create a big wet douching for the river system this next Friday on through the weekend !!
