Castaic's second trout plant action

We finally got our second plant of trout for this season start, Main ramp was planted Monday I believe.
We've been putting in the work and got a little payout this afternoon, the NW winds have kept boats from launching this week so the winds switched to a NE and there was a quater moon out in the late afternoon sky, things weren't as fishy as I would like but had this unit hit the topwater 9 inch KPN in trout pattern, then had a nice fish blow up on it a couple casts later but didn't stick. this is the first time using this bait, walks really nice and it out fished the punkers tonight...
