Striper Action Anyone?

Striper Nation,
When should we expect the silver submarines to be coming through the delta? I was told that the end of Aug begining of Sept is usually the start of the season, is this correct?

Saw some smaller fish working bait this morning and ended up catching a 4 pounder in white slough. A few fish milling around dissapointment too. Good luck!

was bass fishing in disapointment today and saw a few small stripers bustin shad....marked a few decent looking fish up around mildred too....lots of bait everywhere i went...maybe a decent year ahead....hope so....got a few decent bass on buzzbaits and had one large boil that looked silver so who knows

There is leftover summer run stripers in the american river right now....few of the locals are on them good.
not heard any news on the fall run yet...waiting with rod in hand!
