Does anyone use Garmin combo units, I'm in the market for new combo my Lowrance took a dump on me. Lowrance states it won't repair it, Garmin seem to have a better turnaround policy. And longer fixable units before discontinuing. Bub

I'll chime in and give ya my opinion. Garmin's sonar is outstanding! I think Garmin's sonar is better than HB, Ray or Low but they're mapping is probably the worst. They're working on their mapping but it's not quite there yet. It's really personal preference over finding fish or finding ledges/flats. HB works nicely with Lakemaster or Navionics but I think their sonar and SI/DI is a bit on the lower end unless you;re willing to purchase the high dollar HB MEGA imagery units.

For the price, for blue collar dudes such as myself.. I prefer Garmin's pricing and sonar capabilities with a HB unit for mapping.

What is wrong with the lowrance unit? Are you selling any adapters or gps antennas? (209)817-1112
