1989 Chevy Suburban 2500 was owned by neighbor who died a couple months ago. He used it to tow his travel trailer to Arizona every year during winter until he went blind 2 years ago. It runs great and passed smog a couple weeks ago...good through December. It's also registered to April 2011 so it should be cheap to register. My mechanic put in a new fuel pump, fuel filter, oil filter, oil change, wiper blades, EGR valve and full lube service, including checking the brakes. This beast can tow a bass boat with no trouble at all. It has a heavy duty suspension with 8-lug wheels. Made a mistake on the registration. The April date is for a travel trailer I'm selling. I just registered the Suburban for ALL of 2011 and the smog is good for 90 days from 11/4/2010.

Forgot a few details: engine is a 454 cubic inch fuel injected V-8 and drive train is 2-wheel drive. The truck is set up with an electric brake controller.
