Craigs list scam in Bay area

Beware this boat is listed in several states under craigs list........1999 Javelin Renegade Bass Series I googled the return address and the same boat shown in four states.
I purchased a boat in January. There are a ton of boat scams like that on Craigslist. What I realized is, if it's too good to be true--it's a scam. If you email them and they send you back a long story--it's a scam.
Be wary of any add that doesn't have a phone number. If they only have email, send them an email asking for their phone number, if they don't give it. Forget about it.
That is some of what I learned while searching.. I am sure there are other obvious signs, but I can't think of them right now.
