CVKF TOC Qualifiers 9/30/19

The Central Valley Kayak Fishing (CVKF) circuit has wrapped up their regular season events and is hosting their Tournament of Champions on Sunday, 10/6/19 on Salt Springs Valley Reservoir in Copperopolis, CA. After a highly competitive season with some of Northern California’s best kayak anglers, the top 15 in overall points have qualified to compete for their chance at some great prizes including a new fishing kayak. The fall bite should be in full swing and the competition should be fierce. Damian “Big Fish” Thao of Fresno, CA is leading the pack going into this tournament and has his sights set on another victory. Damian has dominated the Central and Northern California kayak fishing scene for the last several years but there are several anglers in the top 15 who will give him a run for his money.

Next up for CVKF is an open event on Lake Success on Sunday, 11/24/19. Vang reported that he is looking forward to another great season in 2020 and is working on the schedule that will be released soon. The format will be similar to past seasons but he is looking at some new venues. Stay tuned for more information.
