This year's Buchanan Bass Battle was hosted by the Spokane Bass Club and held on Long Lake. This event is a way to honor the late Hardy Buchanan and bring the area clubs together for fun and fellowship. The Buchanan family puts together an amazing raffle for the anglers and this year they provided food for the hungry fisherman after the weigh-in.

The Inland Empire Bass Club, Idaho Panhandle Bass Anglers and Spokane Bass Club all competed this year for bragging rights. The club with the highest average weight per team wins the right to have this trophy until the next tournament.

This year the weights were extremely close with all three teams separated by one pound. The Idaho team won the overall title with a 9.49lb average followed by Spokane Bass Club at 8.85 and the Inland Empire Bass Club at 8.49lbs.

The overall team winner was Ryan South and Travis Smith with a 16.81lb limit. Big largemouth was Tony McCalmant and Travis Brewster at 5.81lbs. Big smallmouth was 6.29lbs and went to Noah Whitten.

Thanks to all of the teams for coming out this year and huge thanks to the Buchanan family for continuing this great tradition.
