$100 Pasote 12.06lb Bounty Big Fish by Raper & Hawley

What a beautiful Winter day on Lake Berryessa! Thanks to the 33 Teams that fished the 4th event of the Pasote Tequila & Berryessa Bass Tournaments Circuit that was on January 5, 2020 and hosted out of Markley Cove. Also, THANKS to Pauline for helping out with the tournament!!! Glory Hole is very close to going over! There was barely a breeze, and the Big Girls bit for a few teams! Triple batch of Chili made it through the 4th flight. The bite was good for numbers, and a few of the teams got the big bite! The lake is fishing much better and the weights are showing the effort of finding a Big Bite. Most teams reported catching their fish in 15’ – 30’ of water and on the bottom. Water temps are down into the lower 50’s range with the water clarity being typical Berryessa murky green. Most teams were fishing all over Main Body of the lake. Reports from the teams are that they are catching fish on Rip baits, A-rig, Jig, Shakeyhead, and drop shot! First Place Big Fish was a fat stud that looked like she had been eating trout!. First Place went to Dave Raper and Rick Hawley with a 12.06lb kicker for 1st Place Big Fish and that anchored a 19.27lb sack! 1st Place Big Fish ($600) was over 10lbs, so Dave and Rick got paid the $100 Pasote Tequila Bounty! Second Place went to Brandon Gee and Matt Hamilton who brought in a sack that weighed 15.73lbs and they had a 7.85lb slaunch for 2nd Place Big Fish. Third Place went to AJ Holty and Scott Waters with a sack that weighed 14.73.lbs. and a 4.23lb kicker. With a Fourth Place finish, Juan Herrera and Craig Tanner weighed in 13.31lbs. with a 5.17lb kicker. In Fifth Place, Nick Kanemoto and Gary Wiedner came in with a sack weighing 12.50lbs. Zach Ploeger and Brandon Hansa weighed in 12.40lbs for Sixth Place. In Seventh Place was Kip Whiteacre and Todd Clark with 12.30lbs. Eighth Place was Ryan White and Troy Daniels with 12.28lb.
