I was sure hoping to see a Friday practice added to this year. Fuel prices make any early trips too expensive.

I've gone a couple of times the last few weeks. $230 dollars in gas on the last trip between car and boat. Been talking to my buddy all fall about the impact of fuel on the tournament scene. Will the numbers be down? Will guys choose one circuit? Will guys simply not practice? Time will tell. I do think WWBT has the best overall pay back. The last check is almost double the entry fee. Most of the others you have a hard time getting your money back if your below 6-10 place. The problem with inflation it eats up everyones disposable incomes. I really hope it works out for everyone. Ive met a ton of great people through bass fishing.
