Bam event Winner second win.
Looks like Randy Blaukat is right. Once you start to pay attention, you soon see what dominates our soon to be diminished sport. With only 30 boat to support, that will soon be 15. Watch the interview at the day 3 weigh in. One Guy said He would pull up to a spot. scan it.... no fish move to the next. On and on. The Winner said, I went from nothing to 2 wins. Looking forward to the NEXT circuit that bans FFS. Thats where the numbers will be. Maybe not tomorrow.... but it will happen.

I Have no need to .... evolve. The winds of change are upon us. Time will take care of it. Might listen to the tournament director pointing out the guy in the blue shirt. Soon he will be the only one making money.

Tough subject but think about this, why did Major League Baseball ban steroids? That was technologically/chemically driven that gave users an unfair advantage. If baseball had "evolved", they would have allowed steroids to be part of the game. Some day there will probably be a golf ball that has a technology in the ball, all you do is hit it and the thing goes straight towards the hole, should that technology be allowed to "evolve" the PGA Tour? Anyone watch (try to watch more like it), a Bassmaster Elite tournament and all the guys do is stare down at their FFS screens, it is boring as hell. If in fact FFS is here to stay then there should be tournaments for non-FFS users only, and I believe that is already starting to happen. My non-hating opinion only...

So you’re still fishing a flasher and pre-rigged worms? Got a helicopter bait tied on?

Edited: Still pulling out your paper maps?

False equivalence… no similarity between performance-enhancing drugs and technological advances.

There have been major advances in gold club and ball technology, some of which have been sanctioned and some not.

Pretty boring watching a guy flip down an outside weed line for a long time without a bite… fishing is not particularly a great spectator sport… go getcha some.

You might love it.... Bottom line is the fisherman speak. 30 boats. Guess you better go back to flashers. Have not seen any 160 boat events lately. I vote with my money too. For now... the guy in the blue shirt is making bank. Just thinking.... the guy in the blue shirt was the Garmin rep. There may come a time that 100% of the boats have FFs. It will be a 6 boat turkey shoot. Turn on the spot lights and, Let the best Gamer win.

The manufacturers are a big part of the finances of the tournaments. I believe in less than a few years the suspended more pelagic fish will lessen, and the bank will become more competitive again.

I'm not concerned with new technology. If we outlaw FFS we are telling the manufactures not to invest in new tech or improving the current. That is not the message that I want to support.

If you think BAM draws poorly now, see what happens if they enforce a FFS ban....

If I'm not mistaken I believe the BAM PRO TOUR only allowed 30 boats (Invite) this was not a Pro-Am .
Im pretty sure Colby could win without FFS. - quit Bitchin go fishin..

Thats exactly what we are going to do. Watch and see. The south has already started circuits with restrictions...... Coming soon to a town near you. Gamers be Gaming. It will only take a little time. Remember, it wont make you a better fisherman. Only easier to catch fish.

I'm all about tournaments having their own sets of rules and a place for guys to fish FFS free if they choose. Just saying I doubt it will draw well, especially in the west.

Yep yer the smart one. Me bad. And the Kid that won the Bam at Almanor learned BIG too. He said He was nothing and now 2 wins..... GREAT! Probably got a kickback from the Garmin rep that was there. Meanwhile Newjenn had 16.... Did I say 16? boats Saturday at Don Pedro. Cause and effect. Thats what an old Guy like you should understand. Hope you kick butt at the 8 boat turkey shoots coming soon. It will be slow and quiet..... but they will find something else to do. So will the Gamers when they go home with yours and all the real fishermens money. Damage will be done. And you wont stop it. You wont even see it. No one addicted to sugar likes it when the Doctor says quit or yer goina die of a heart attack. Have a snicker bar. The peanuts are good for you.

Following 2 time BAM champ Colby's career he has consistently been in the top 10 since turning Pro. If anything the format of the BAM Pro tour is something he adapts to and obviously excels at - technology aside. The kid has been tournament fishing since he was 10 years old. His old school youtube videos are some of my favorites, kid is a wealth of knowledge.
BAM Pro Tour is invite only and capped at 30 boats for the inaugural season. It is my understanding next year they will raise the number of qualified invites.
