Bay Area Bass Busters – Established 1969

For over half a century, Bay Area Bass Busters has been more than just a fishing club — we’re a brotherhood built on history, lifelong friendships, and a shared passion for bass fishing.

With all the distractions and options in today’s bass fishing world, we offer something real — a blend of competition, camaraderie, team building, and a deep respect for fish care and the waters we call home.

Our community welcomes anglers from all across Northern California. We meet monthly both online and in-person (with no requirement to attend in person), bringing together members from every corner of NorCal to share knowledge and fish competitively.

Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just getting started, there’s a place for you here. Come be part of a tradition that’s been bustin’ bass since ’69.

January 24, 2026 – Tournament Recap | Lake Don Pedro

We kicked off our January event at Lake Don Pedro, greeted by cold temps and fog that stuck around all day. The bite proved tough for most, with anglers grinding it out using a mix of reaction baits and jigs, both shallow and deep. Definitely one of those days that rewarded patience and persistence.

Despite the challenging conditions, it was great to see everyone again and spend the day on the water together — that’s what this club is all about.

If you’re interested in checking out Bay Area Bass Busters, we’d love to have you join one of our monthly meetings.
*First Thursday of every month
*7:00 PM (via Zoom)
