Holey molie;

Im getting it good from the Mrs about fishing the TSJ on Fathers Day.

Shes laying the guilt trip and setting me up for some advanced warning fireworks... Not the good kind. Usually i pretty much get what i want but shes a little bit pissed off about this one. Hey, im the Dad right? This is my present from me to me right?

Anybody else getting any slack over this one?

Well, it is Father's day after all...Sounds like someone's got a double standard. Tell her next year you are picking what she is doing for Mother's day and see what she says....

OR

You can tell her you will weigh in 3 hrs early and come home.... She probably has no idea the event is under the 6hr rule so its already 3 hrs shorter than normal. You will be home by 3 and she'll think you left early to be at home with the fam...unless she reads this forum, you're home free.

OR

Just tell her you're fishing and she'll see you when you get home..

This is a 6 hr. event like D.L. said so many of you will be home a lot earlier than normal. Tell the ladies that and it will help, I hope.

I told the wife and girls that I would be home before they are ready to do anything. I'll be lucky if they get up before noon anyhow. Ya thats what I told them. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Also remember when it comes time for the championship you should be asking the guys from central cal as well. They are full of info as well as full of other stuff as well.
