Anyone have Motor Guide Xi5 80lbs thrust

I am looking at upgradibt to 24V 80lbs Motor Guide Xi5. Is anyone running these? Just want to know if i should get the wireless or cable. Anny suggestions

I have a 36v xi5 with pinpoint. Mine is wireless. I have never used a cable unit, so I don't know how it would compare.
The wireless seems to work fine. The pinpoint GPS on the other hand seems to be a bit wonky at times. I am a real fan of the wireless remote control. I rarely use the pedal unless I have a fish on.

I was planning on buying the Xi5, but after hearing of some issues with the Pinpoint GPS, I decided to wait to see if they had a fix for it. So far, I've not read of an factory fixes. In the meantime, Minn Kota has the new Ultrex coming out this fall. I will wait for any bugs to show up. If all looks good, that's my next trolling motor.
