This is my first time owning a Bass boat in this county. Bought it last year and this year I receive a letting in the mail from the County saying a 576-D form Vessel Property Statement needs to be completed. Looks like they plan on assessing it so they can charge me some kind of a outrageous tax like everything else around here.
If anyone has any input or experience on this, please let me know what to expect... also, I keep my boat at my Shasta house but it is Registered to my Santa Clara county address.
