With Lake Oroville Spillway flows slowing to zero today, we catch a glimpse of the power of water, and the work that lies ahead.

That is a lot of material at the bottom, in the river, that was scoured out by the runoff.
Are there any plans yet to remove that stuff!

One of the main reasons to stop the waterflow was to get equipment in there to remove all the junk (e.g. concrete, trees, rocks/gravel, etc.) that got washed into the river. The hydro plant that is down river has been closed to prevent any damage to it from the junk going down river.
