So I moved to WA a few months ago and I am missing fishing big time. I know we have salmon ect......but that's not cutting it. Can anyone direct me to a club in western WA. I sold my boat so I am a backseater.

Check out the Puyallup Hawg Hunters or Washington Bass Association. Lot of great guys in those clubs.

Oh and there is way more than salmon to chase in Washington. I'm on the east side of the state and our tournament Saturday took 27+lbs to win and 26+ for second for five fish limits of largemouth.

Here is a list of more clubs in the state: http://wabass.org/Fed_bass_clubs.htm

You moved to where there is better bass fishing, not less. Search the internet for some of my articles.

You won't regret it, the bass fishing is excellent once you figure out the differences. Just realize there are no threadfin shad for forage; it changes how the bass feed and act. Crayfish are big here, and various other baitfish like sculpin, stickleback, yellow perch, smelt, trout, and many more.

Many, many years ago a friend of mine moved to Washington state. He called me about 6 month later and was gushing about how good the bass fishing was. We didn't discuss size, but he was one happy dude!!
