Why won't they come to CA.
Clear lake is it not profitable for B.A.S.S. to come here or is it they want large amount of money to bring there tour out west. It's one of the best lake in the country for putting weight numbers per limits during tournaments. Even the Delta they also put numbers out and they
Don't even consider fishing either No money out west. Even if they came out every other year a western swing can't the chambers of commercance in both areas draw these tournaments in. I don't get it the money they would bring in to both areas.

When BASS and FLW bring their bassfishing machine into a town it's a big deal. Those orgs want and get ... free hotels and well over 100K + from the local chamber of commerce and supporting businesses. Most of the guys do like fishing out here but even if you make the cut, its still a very costly proposition with travel and such.

According to B.A.S.S. as soon as this schedule is released Elite tourney contestants can no longer obtain fishing information ...

"Beginning at the time the Elite Series schedule is announced next week, anglers are prohibited from soliciting or intentionally receiving any information about the locations of fish or fishing areas on those waters,” announced B.A.S.S. Tournament Director Trip Weldon.

This should be interesting!

B a s s was out here a few years ago on the delta. I went out to the weigh ins and hung around the area with all the vendors and kid games it was a blast. I wish they came out this way more often. It's awesome to see what the pros can do on our home waters. The next time they come out I want to register to be an official I bet that is a blast to see first hand how they adjust to the conditions.

It's a shame they don't come out here anymore once every two year wouldn't be a hardship on them I know it's about the money with those big orgs. but still it would be nice for alot of people and business in those areas. If they were here for a short time only.
