I still prefer the lake fork.

I was not impressed, i bet there is a time when that little kick is needed, but for the most part they didn't last long and didn't make a noticeable difference to my chatter bait fishing. I still prefer a big keitiech on the end.

I have to agree with the above posters, the Lake Fork tackle shimmy is great and not expensive. The Kietech does pretty darn good for a thump type of trailer. I get why yamamoto made these, but that is all....

To me the video was interesting because it showed that the jointed tail needed the chatterbait head to shake it into a wiggling action. A swimbait head didn't do it.

Same as the other posters. It has it place for a more subtle presentation, however a chatterbait is not that. Optimum baits Double Diamond for me. Great for swim jig or Chatterbugs.

What size do you use on the chatterbaits?

Mark the lake fork is jointed too and you get a side to side wobble that diamond shad gets a bigger wobble/ roll

First several times I threw them, I threw them like some other small swimbaits...weighted swimbait hooks, yeah they were totally ineffective, as in zero, zilch, nada, nothing!!! I found a LITTLE success rigging them with an owner flashy swimmer, working it like a dying shad (on bottom, with a little twitch every now and then), but I found like I like them as chatterbait trailers to bulk up my bait, the best. Just my .02
