Just wondering if anyone has fished salt spring lately... only real concern is water clarity and if its worth going out when camanche and melonies are close by???

Coupla things you should know. There were many visible, clean beds without fish on them. Late spawn means post-spawn blues. Also, and maybe more importantly, there was a major fish die-off of catfish and panfish - floaters all over the place. Didn't see any bass floating, but it is still not a good situation. I heard that Melones is producing really well with a great top water bite early. Don Pedro still producing numbers but not a lot of size.
