I’m planning on heading down to Clearlake on August 15th, staying in Nice at the Worldmark.
A few questions-
1. Is the smoke to bad around the entire lake to safely fish or are there sections where it’s not to bad?

2. Will it be likely that I need to cancel my reservation up in Nice and find somewhere else?

3. Where on the lake is it not to bad to get a hotel if any place is not to Smokey?

Until they get that fire completely out it's gonna be a crap shoot as to the conditions. I'd just keep in touch with the hotel as to the conditions.

Is the rest of the lake super Smokey, or are there other places I could stay that’s not to bad?

was suppose to be there last weekend. id keep in contact with worldmart. they just refunded my points until they lift the evacuations
