Hello Outdoorsman’-
We are trying to gauge interest level for what could be an annual fishing, hunting, camping sports show in the Modesto/Stockton area. If you think you would attend and give us a Thumbs up or down. We can better get a feel for what everyone is thinking.

We are looking at boats, rv’s, fishing vendor’s (products, guides etc), hunting vendor’s and products, rv’s and boats. We are looking for local and out of area bait company’s, rod/reel vendor’s, guides etc.

Our biggest vendor so far is Bass Pro Shops. We are looking to have food booth’s, outside booth’s and 3 large buildings filled with outdoor gear.

If you are interested in being a vendor, or know someone who might, please respond to this add and we can lock in an early bird booth price that is also guarrenteed for next years show.

Demonstrations by local bass pro’s & trout, salmon, striper guides as well. There will be a casting competition. Show will be Fri-Sat-Sun.

Jus looking to gauge interest. Thanks everyone!

If your looking to have a sportsmen show in central ca like the heading on your post say's then try Fresno and have it at the save mart center you can't get more central then that. March and April are good months to hold it.

Do it farther south. I'm still kicking myself for wasting a day going to that ISE show a couple years ago. That being said, there were a bunch of folks wandering around there and I'm sure some people made some money off the thing so maybe you can also. Good luck.

Try posting this question in the NorCal Fishing group on Facebook. I am guessing you would get a much bigger response.

So why cant Johnny morris bring Bassproshop too central ca fresno too the Savemart center for a four day show they could be the main anchor of the show and bring in local boat dealers Rv dealers outfitter's hunting and fishing guides bass bin with bass pro's on the tank local tackle manufactures. It would in central ca not northern ca. Not down south bakersfield. Heart of central ca. FRESNO it could be done.

How did a post to stage a Sportsman Show in the Stockton/Modesto evolve into this?
BTW, your assessment of Central California is correct, however, the Central Valley extends from Redding to Bakersfield.

FYI...........The geographical center of Calif is just North of Fresno and just South of Madera. It's marked on State Hwy 99 by two trees in the center divide. A Palm tree on the South side with an Evergreen tree on the North side. I'd vote for a show in Fresno.

Anywhere in the central valley sounds great to me. I look forward to the Sacramento ISE each year. A show south of Sacramento would be awesome!

Here the main reason you should hold a sportsmen show in the central valley
State of the art Savemart Center tons of room and tons of parking if you want too go all in and draw alot of people this would be the arena to hold it in. Holding these sportmen shows at fair grounds are old news.Step up and really put on a show in the central valley.
