Well I don't know how good a deal it is (never stayed there) but I know that a couple of popular spots are the lake escape resort at http://www.lakeescaperesort.com/index.htm on the south end and the Konocti Vista motel/casino at http://www.kvcasino.com on the north end. I know there are some other good places and I'm sure someone else will chime in with that info.

have fun,

Do not know if it is the best deal on the lake, but the KV Casino Resort on the north end (Lakeport) has everything you would want right in one spot. Secure docks, food, rooms and security. Gambling if you want also. Bill K :)

You need not have to stay at the big hotel/motels to get good service up there.

I have heard good things about this place:

Blue Fish Cove
P.O. Box 1252, 10573 E. Highway 20, Clearlake Oaks, CA 95423, (707) 998-1769
Beach cottages, kitchens, cable TV, air conditioning, game room, boat ramp, lighted fishing pier, boat rentals.

Limit Out Bait and Tackle/Bob Higgins 12599 E Highway 20 Clear Lake Oaks

Give Jay a call at the Kelseyville Motel (707) 279-1874. It's a little hidden place just off the Highway in Kelseyville. Rooms are less expensive than most of the other places, it is clean, very secure, very quiet, and a great place to stay. Many of us have been staying there for years and keeping it a secret as there are not that many rooms.

Give it a try and you will not be sorry.

Tell him Dewayne said hello! :)

If your on the Glenheaven side (5 minutes from Limit Out Tackle), check out Indian Beach Resort and Lake Place Resort. Our bass club uses both of them every September.

You can not beat the two allready mentioned. Blu Fish Cove and Indian beach. Nicest people, clean cabins, launch ramp & boat docks w/ power. Used them both cant wait to go back. Then stop and see Bob and his wife at Limit Out Tackle! Good Luck!
