Bank Fishing 3/23/19

First time fishing the Delta from the bank. I will be taking my son. We have kayaks but he wants to fish first to build up his confidence. Where are some good spots? Where to park that is safe and no illegal? I was thinking Paradise Point and walk up and down White Slough toward 8 mile and over towards the houses and Walmart. Any info is helpful. Thanks.

I think Paradise Slough walking towards whites is a good bet this time of year. If they aren't there just drive down to Herman and Helens and try the bank there. Lots of good fish around paradise slough.

Thank You. I just noticed on Google Maps that HH is closed. So can we fish around and use the boat ramp? Parking should not be a problem?

Not sure I haven’t been up there in a while but that levy wall gives you access to the bridge and wooden pickings from the bank and probably not as crowded

Herman Helen has been closed for over a year. Ramp still there but condition and maybe chained off. Not sure if Paradise charges for kayak ??? See kayaks out of Paradise
