Bigbassdaddy, bad experience with gone fishin? I’ve used both mentioned and my preference is with gone fishin. Customer crew was tenfold.

Be careful with All Marine in Stockton they screwed the pooch on my trailer repair and did nothing to make it right. I needed Boatmasters to fix the problem.

When they know you’re a tournament angler Boatmasters has been known to move people up knowing how badly they need their boats. It’s worth asking.
Jeremy at C&C Marine - keeps me goin'!!

Jeremy at C&C Marine, Sacramento, is a great guy that I don't want to see too often - LOL!! He has always tried to keep my Ranger/Evinrude rigs in tip-top condition, and, because of that, never had a problem. I do the regular service visits and know I leave with an engine running in perfect condition. I recently purchased a little used Ranger Z521 - nearly new. Jeremy updated everything - new Minn Kota tm and Lowrance electronics, plus a few other needs like black light rigging, etc. I have a few gifts and talents in my music and fishing life - but - not the stuff Jeremy and other good boat mechanics do. He works on and repairs boats that I wouldn't get in if they were on water!! I think we all agree that a trusted boat and motor expert is an important part of our fishing life!!!
Now - if I can just find his new shop!!

Finding a good shop is hard to find. I'm one for Boatmasters. I blew my lower last year in April and thought Im out until June easily, luckily they were able to slide me in the following week. It's a double edge sword, a busy shop is a good shop. Maybe you can bribe Mike or Drew? Mike looks like single malt whiskey guy to me
Good Luck

Mike and Drew are both top notch guys I’ve been doing business with them for 25 years.

You'd have to haul your boat to Clear Lake but it's a pretty good place to test the boat when the work is done.

Performance Marine in Oakley.. Right there at Lauritzen's.
Henry may be booked out as well, but a great mechanic none-the-less.

I did NOT have this shared experiance - had to hunt him down to communicate, found loose screws in the cowling, injector timing was off, made mutliple trips to him and he finally just said come pick it up and had to take it to C&C afterword to dial it back in. I know some of you guys like this dude as a garage mechanic and he is cheap ------but C&C is doing my service.

Thanks for all the replies guys I really do appreciate it!
If possible I am trying to stay somewhat local. Already tried Henry and he is also booked out 2 months.
At this point I have my appointment in May and I just gotta suck it up. Maybe walk the bank or do some trout fishing in the meantime
Hope you guys are on em!
Matt
