I’ve been seeing lots of small jellyfish in the western delta so this isn’t all that surprising to me. This is the first year I’ve seen them though.

Could that be how the term "Stinger Hook " came about ?

We had a Duck Club on Suisun Slough. Those things started showing up about 30 years ago or about as far back as I can remember. I have seen them in Antioch as well. Don't know much about them but they are common.

I remember 2 or 3 years ago, there was an abundance of small jellyfish all around the Delta. Mostly near Shelter island area and around the mouth of the Delta. It was definitely weird seeing hundreds, if not thousands of them floating around.
