2 rods or one

I don’t know if I should get 2 dobyns sierras one 703sf and the other one 704sf or one champion xp 703sf and I really only have one other rod because I just use my friends rods so any help is appreciated

Rod buying has to start somewhere, buy what you can afford and keep collecting. Maybe one rod and reel would be a better investment.

The most versatile rod for bass fishing is a medium heavy rod if you were going to just get one of the two you mentioned i would go with the 704. This power rod may not be "the best" for every technique but it'll allow you ample versatility.

Eh might as well just go with a medium because I only fish in lakes or rivers with no rocks and only throw nightcrawlers and senkos

If your just fun fishing and throwing senkos and crawlers. Honestly you could get away with a ugly stick for those techniques. I’m a huge fan of dobyns and lamiglass rods. But if that’s all I was throwing I would get a ugly stick and just change the line out
