35.16 To Win BBT 2019 TOC

Congratulations to our 2019 Tournament of Champions winners Mike Caddick and Mark McCord. They had 5 fish for 19.17 on day 1 at New Melones. Then backed it up with 5 fish for 15.99 on day 2 Giving then a 2 day total of 35.16. They also took 1st place in the Berkley Fishing Cast for Cash netting them $21,000.00!!! A heartfelt thank you to all the Anglers that came out and fished this event. We would also like to thank all off our sponsors and Anglers that supported us in 2019.

Wow less than 10lbs a day cut a top 10 finish!
Must have been a really tough bite!

It was unbelievably tough at New Melones. I fished four straight practice day with only one keeper a day.

I haven't fished Melone's in the fall in years because the bite used to be so tough. The fish just seem to be scattered everywhere this time of year.
I was there a few months ago and the fish appear to have some kind of disease. Half the fish I caught had open sores, flesh missing, a couple that look like they should be dead. A couple years ago the fish were clean and healthy.
I wonder if this has had an impact on the bass population.

5.5 lbs median best 5 weight per day......yeah thats a tough bite.

Ya on tourny day we had 5 for 7.28. Felt like 30. lol
