I did a search before posting, but everything I found was pretty old. Going up in a couple weeks for two days of fun fishing on New Melones. Just need a place for a night for two of us. Any recommendations for a clean safe place with boat parking? We probably can get by without charging batteries, but would be nice to plug in.

The RV park has little cabins you can rent. They are nothing fancy but there are fire pits and bbq's outside. I have stayed there several times. If they don't have a full campsite the owners had no problem with us parking our rigs in a campsite and using the power for charging batteries. https://angelscamprv.com

Travellodge in the north end of town is good.

Jumping Frog is tight, but we've never had a problem there.
