Just have to admit some features are a huge help when you establish a pattern or specific depth range the fish are holding in.. I found a ton of fish piled around this submerged hump that split 2 creek channels while up fishing at Lake Shasta.. The greatest thing about it was it was an area that kept reloading with fish an it even had multiple key ingredients that held the fish such as points, steeper contours and even rock. Tie all that together and use the depth shading feature to keep the boat in the right depth range then it’s only up to you to catchem!

My depth shading works way better on Navionics mobile app than my locater. Found myself using my phone more than my locators. Disappointing.
