I'm not trying to encourage irresponsible behavior, however;

Castaic is open for launching and fishing. The playground is closed... but not the playground most of us like to play on!!

I just spoke with the Lake Pyramid staff and I quote; "Pyramid is open with no plan for closing". This was according to the gal I spoke with.

News on another front: Casitas announced they are closing after today.

For all, PLEASE do your best to follow the guidelines, be smart and protect one another and the lake employees you come in "contact" with. Let's make it easy and as non-threatening to the lake employees that are having to take our money, check us in, and clip or re-attach the tags, so we can maintain some form of sanity and keep fishing!!

Lake levels look high on the Castaic Webcam--- hows the water temp? the rain has em holding im sure; but the shores will be leaded in a short while -- 2ndary points mush have em stacked up right now!

Nah! It's really tough right now!

The GOOD NEWS is; Both lakes are still open and allowing boat launch and fishing. All restrooms, playgrounds, and hiking trails are closed.

Just remember: If you go, don't give the lake a reason to shut down. Follow the CDC guidelines as closely as you can and make it easy for them to stay open for us.
