What is the difference in Blanks

Spinning and casting ?

Can one be used as the other ?

Yes you can but you need to pay attention to the spline of the rod for guide placement. Also, the powers very a lot between casting and spinning. I did this once with Dobyns Rods. I took a Champ 763C blank and used it for a Champ 765SF rod. It was a stout spinning rod. This is the only time I've ever done this. I simply make a new blank. So you can do it but be careful of the power and guide location.
