A guy I know said he got pulled over while pulling his boat to go fishing and was told by the police to turn around and go home. Anyone else heard of this happening?

My girlfriend mentioned one of her friends was pulled over in her car recently because she was out after 10:00 p.m..
The cop mentioned only people that were going to work or working needed to be out at that hour.
I'm assuming this took place in the Oakdale or Sonora are.
Not sure if this is true. If so it may just be some Barney Fife type cops that are doing this on their own.

3 employees at my wife's work have been pulled over so far all at their graveyard shift change (healthcareworkers) coming or going. Lodi and Manteca. No tickets or anything just had to prove they were going or coming from work.

Any stop without being in violation of a vehicle code should be questioned.
