Hey I’m hoping I’m in the right area to post this!

Looking at a 96 skeeter that has efi 2 stroke but been told that NorCal lots of lakes don’t allow them on the water. Can anyone help me been trying to find out what lakes don’t allow it and if it’s worth getting a 2 stroke. First boat and don’t want any issues on the lake or in tournaments.

What brand motor do you have? Back in 2000 when I purchased my TR19 Triton with an Evinrude Ficht 175 it ran so clean it was allowed on Lake Tahoe. Not sure if that's still the case 20 years later.
