Scotts Flat Reservoir status?

Has anybody been to Scotts Flat recently and can tell me what the status is? We're visiting my inlaws in Grass Valley for the next week and I'd love to go fishing. The most recent article on the reservoir I've been able to find it from May 27, and it said that locals only are allowed to launch boats starting at 7:30 (there goes the morning bite...) Are day use areas open? Is bank fishing possible?

As of two weeks ago, boat launch is open, day use areas (picnic, beach) were closed but you can walk along the shore to fish.
Mostly smallmouth, a few spots and LMB. Fishing isn't great, I think Rollins is better.

Thanks! I’ve since then found a statement saying this on the official page, will see if actually true: “ Nevada Irrigation District will be opening all it facilities to boating, day use and camping on July 1, 2020!!!”

We drove there and were turned away. Nevada and placer residents only.

We didn’t have any issues walking in at Cascade yesterday and bank fish. Didn’t have a boat, though.
