Yes, what Morgan said. I talked to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office deputies at Pine Flat last month and they confirmed 5mph at sunset.

Thanks Fellas.. It's been 10 years or so since I went night fishing, with this moon I think I'll take my wife and daughter this weekend and see what happens.. With the water dropping like crazy the bass have been suspended, have you guys ever tried spoons at night? Was gonna try top water, spinner bait, crank bait, spoons, jigs and worms in that order until we find a pattern... Now that I think about it I havent had a serious night fish for bass since the early 90's lol...

I haven’t thrown a spoon at night. I was at Pine Flat on Wednesday evening and couldn’t believe how quickly the water was dropping. The water was in the 84-86 degree range and pretty stained too. The bite was decent for reaction baits and about the same for finesse baits. The ramp at Island Park was closed because of the current water level.

Well That was one tough bite! Fished from 8-pm to midnight for 3 dinks between us...

Fished a morning kayak tourney. Caught 5 keepers, 2 were 14" the others 12 3/4"
