Daiwa Tatula Casting Rods

I want to purchase a few Tatula Rods, but my concern is the Fuji Fazlite Tangle-Free-K Guides. I read some reviews on the rods but I guess these guides are like a Micro Guide's and when you blend braid to floro you have a knot problem.
Any experience with this?
Thanks
Darrell

I have had 5 of those rods for a couple of years All of mine are bait casters. None of the guides are micro-guides. However, if I recall the info on the tag correctly, on the higher priced rods, Daiwa recommends not to use braid to flouro/mono as the knot can damage the guides. I don't remember the warning on the lower price range. 2-3 of these rods are on the deck every time I'm on the water! GREAT rods, light and sensitive. I would buy more, but I have too many rods as it is...

I can chime in on the lower end stuff.
For 4 years i ran all tatula xt's and no issues with the guides when topshotting.
But keep in mind i tend to fish lighter than most folks i think.
My spinning gear was 10# braid to 8 or 6# fc
Casting was from 20#braid 12#fc up to 40# braid to 20# fc.
Hope that helps, tight lines!

I did purchase the Daiwa Tatula's and even though the top guide is small....the blend of Floro to Braid clears well.
