While fishing the Disappointment/White slough areas mid week, my God the noise from construction equipment, farm equipment, lawn equipment, air planes, other non-natural noise was overwhelming to say the least! I couldn't hear myself think! Is it the same around the other areas of the Delta?

Gone are the days of any serenity and natural nature sounds while fishing this area, big bummer.

I would rather endure any of those noises instead of the amplified sounds coming from those obnoxious boats with the multiple giant speakers mounted on a structure 10 feet in the air .

Those are the sounds of productive people working, I'll put up with it.

Not to mention the HUGE wakes most of them throw.

Good catch on those wakers. More hazardous and destructive when on the water for sure. Guess I need to go find a river/stream to Trout fish to not hear all that "noise".
