What happened to the Navionics Interactive topo maps in "Lake Reports?" Unable to view break lines, depth, underwater structure, etc. This was such a great value add in planning your days fishing. Any insight is much appreciated?

Can someone from Western Bass respond to this as I also miss this feature greatly.

Sorry it took a bit. Had to wait to hear what IT found in the research of the problem.... This is what they said about the map issue.


1. The overlay maps from Navionics appear to be offline either temporarily or permanently. Nothing is wrong with the Westernbass page, the calls to their API error out. Their developer page at https://developers.navionics.com/ says the "The Web API service is currently unavailable"


So I am guessing this should be something that Navi will be working on. Sending them a message so they know the issue exists.

This is unfortunate. Ironic that Navionics does have this accessible for anyone to access. If you log onto the Navionics website you can access the detailed topographic map of almost any lake or body of water in the nation and world!!

Select: "Chart Viewer" and now navigate to your body of water to see detailed break lines.

Navionics does not support this embed any longer. Most likely to they want users to go to their site to use it.
