The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking a Seasonal Aid to support our Statewide Hatchery Interpretive Program. In this role, you will also get to work outdoors at various, often rural, locations and will be expected to travel around California for extended periods of time. If you have interest in, and an aptitude for fish and wildlife conservation, repair, and maintenance work, then this could be a great opportunity for you!
This position is "remote centered”, and applicants must reside in California. Travel within the following 39 counties in California for extended periods may be required: Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Fresno, Glenn, Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Lake, Lassen, Madera, Modoc, Mono, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Tuolumne, Trinity, Tulare, Yolo, and Yuba Counties.
