Recent Lake Reports

Pretty skimpy reading lately. Leave a report and maybe help out a struggling fisherman better plan an upcoming trip. I have made some great friends over the years with a P.M. after they have read a report of mine over the years. Just a little can go a far way in some cases. Help a Brother or Sister out and use the karma on your next trip... :D

RIP

I agree, if anything the reports get me excited about going fishing.
Kelly, I’m scheduled for a boat inspection Monday morning at Lake Casitas. I’ve been cleaning my boat for a week! Hopefully my labor will pay off.
Looking forward to getting back on the water so I can attempt to write a report. :D

I try to fish Shasta 2 days a week. Being an old guy I really don't like fishing in the rain and on hot summer days I get off the water by 11:00AM If anyone reads my reports I will try to post weekly.

Shasta has produced a lot of spots most everywhere with finesse baits in 1 to 10 feet. Early morning top water has produced some to 3 lbs.

Hensley lake was good this afternoon I caught 11 bass in 3 1/2 hours nothing real big I had two of 11 bass that were about 2 pounds caught all the fish on 1/4 oz. Finesse jigs & 4" twin tail Yamamoto grub trailers
All in 7 to 15 feet of water and in 20mph winds
Eastman has better quality fish that will go on finesse jigs also both lake are low and the wind keep boater away. It's best time to fish both lakes.

Ok I’ll bite. Cachuma - blades and chatterbaits are working if know where to go. Think Shad. Be ready to battle w “a local yocal” in a metal tracker that thinks he owns a prime 300yds of shoreline. Everyone else has been working with each other just fine. And there’s always a lot of options for spots at Cachuma if you look around. The bites been good, but it’s small fish. If you know how to throw a blade though you can prob catch 15-20 keepers in a day.

Thanks for all the reports guys. They've been put into the reports section so they can be looked up by lake for historical info.
