Here I am 3rd in line to be led through by the sheriff. That never happened as we eventually were turned around after sitting and watching it unfold for 2 hours. I then had to hit the coast and travel 8 hrs back to Sac. It was pretty hairy when it jumped the freeway and came on our side. I was about 5 minutes away from turning around myself when the sheriff finally began a line for the cars and pickups to turn around so the big rigs would then have room to maneuver.
