Lodging near Berry

Hi All,

I am taking a friend fishing on Berry next month. Can anyone recommend good lodging? I live near Salinas, so don't get up there much.

I know Pleasure Cove rents cabins, but the only one available when we are there is the "four man" cabin which if I remember right was tiny and had very little amenities the last time I was there. We are willing to splurge a little for better lodging.

Markley's website shows that the cabins are not open yet because of the fire.

Any bass boat friendly Airbnb's you would recommend?

I remember I saw a post on Western Bass years back regarding a bassboat friendly hotel in Winters? Has anyone stayed there with a bassboat?

Thank you in advance for any advice.

A new hotel opened in Winters, very nice. There’s always nearby Vacaville or Woodland

Sorry, i live fairly close so i dont have a need for a hotel. As indicated there are cabins at Pleasure Cove and a new hotel in Winters. There is also Canyon Creek Resort.

I would not recommend any hotel in Woodland for safe and boat friendly.

Please share what you decide on and your experience with a bass boat. I just started fishing Berryessa and would also be interested.

Closing the loop: My friend and I ended up staying in an airbnb near Maxville winery on Chiles Pope valley road. It is about 30-40 min drive to Markley. I think Putah is a little closer, but we didn't go up North because of the storms.

The airbnb was tight. I scraped my fender. It was my fault, but it was tight. $700 off peak rate for three nights. It was a small cottage next to a house that the owner uses as a second home.
