I’m loving it! I particularly enjoy checking out some of the “weather radar” sites when there’s a wall of heavy rain dropping on the majority of our nor-Cal reservoirs.

All winter the hourly Oroville intake cfs has been pretty low and now, with this rain falling on snow, it’s up to 25,000 cfs - which raises the lake a foot about every four hours. A really good intake will raise it a foot an hour, I’m thinking the storm on Thursday/Friday could do that. I’m trying to remember what the intake was in 2017 when the lake was overflowing, I almost want to say it was over 100,000….I still need Oroville to rise another 30 feet to launch from the Paradise side. The lake level impacts my summer/fall in such a big way - I’m loving storms like this!

Dave will the small amount of snow run off push it up a few feet this spring?

Intellicast for Lakeport shows a lot of rain Saturday and next week is off the hook rain daily mostly...very good start as we weren't supposed to get much until the March time frame according to the experts. Because the ground is finally soaked enough for run off it could be be a better than anticipated rain year. In So Cal we are currently 2" over an average year. I need a 5X year so it's all going to the right place at the right time of year to add up....It just needs to continue. Last year it shut down right after December in SoCal.

We need a lot here in the central valley
But poor mariposa county getting hit the hardest after that big fire they had 19,000 acers burned up and now no cover they were showing video on the news last night of just how hard the water was rolling and flooding in some areas. It was crazy.

Right now, Lakeport has had 9.57 inches YTD. Year normal around 30 inches. Still nine and a half feet to be full. Need the March monsoon again

Clear Lake has now come up to the level it was last year at this time. With more rain on the way we should have quite a bit more water than last year!
