Just for fun :-)

Had to get off of the water early today (parents are in town), so now I'm just a little bored.
Anyway, here's a few misc. photos I have taken.... mostly fish related anyway
This shot was purely an accident.... I thought I missed the self timer button, and stood back up to press it again when, "Snap" ! Doh ! Kind of cool though, huh ? Really don't even remember how big this one was. 13.4 maybe ?
What species ?

Too easy ?
Okay.... what species
Montezuma Slough Bridge
Hope you enjoy these,
Peace,
Fish

That last picture is the kind of scene that sometimes one is just lucky enough to be out there when the powers that be decide to paint that picture for you. All I can do is to stop, drop everything and enjoy that fleeting moment. You are lucky to have caught it so beautifully on film so that you have it to remind you of that day!

My camera is a Fuji S7000. It is pretty much at the top end of point and shoot digital cameras (fixed lens) (well it was.... it has been replaced with the S9000). I paid about $450 for it.
But what I really want now is a DLSR (seperate body and lenses) camera. However, just for a Canon 350XT (lower end body) and a 100-400mm L glass lens (upper end for zoom lenses) I'm looking at $2500, with just a few basic accessories !
......tough when your addicted to fishing, and spending $3 plus per gallon. Oh well. Maybe some day.
Peace,
Fish

I'd really love to do more photography. It's just a time and money thing..... neither do I ever seem to have much of, once I subtract my 'fishing' time and 'fishing' money.
I have a few buddies who are always saying, "You could make money from this if you just......." To which I reply, "No.... You could make money at this, or any other venture you come up with, because that is how your mind works". Myself on the other hand, I have always been able to do the "fun part", but once it turns into a serious, business thing, I just lose interest.....
Destined to be poor (monetarily), but having fun doing it
Peace,
Fish
Thanks to all of you.....
