What a year! Skeet who? Gary Who? There's a new sheriff in town and he goes by the name Jimmy.
Yes, he won the WON Bass Northern points title by one single point over Wayne Breazeale. Winning both the Stren and WON Bass AOY titles in a single year is quite a feat. He has been an outstanding angler for years, but this year he has truely taken it to a new level with excellent finishes no matter what lake was being fished and no matter how little pre-fish time he was allowed.
Of course the rest of us are all sponsoring him to go back East again next year.
Congratulations bud!!

A lot of guys are known for one body of water or a technique. What impresses me most about Jimmy's accomplishment is that he has been competitive everywhere, in all conditions! He's probably the best all round angler fishing in the west right now. Sorry Gary, while you're out learning to eat with chopsticks, Jimmy's kickin dirt on your crown! LOL!

Thanks Dewayne, and everyone else for the kind words!
Its been a crazy year! It seems that everything just happened the way you would want it to happen......Even the good fortune of winning the AOY this weekend was unexpected . Dewayne great comeback! 25+ lbs on day 2 was Awesome! How did you catch those fish anyways, better yet where?
.......Its been a "DREAM SEASON"....I now know what it feels like to be "Gary Dobyns"...w/o the pink "G".
Thanks Again !

Great job Jim!
It's scary-awesome that you do it tournament after tournament, putting together quality finish after quality finish on such different water, in the rain, snow, sleet and sun.
DON'T go back East - I'll fish that much harder next year knowing your out there.
You're a class act and a great AOY. Congradulations.

Jimmy,
Great year for a great guy. Well earned titles on two tough circuits. Keep up the good work and fish them all ,your on a roll. You should be getting your new fuel additive soon for your new motor that I think Scott is going to give you at "no charge".I'm also sending you some new line for next season, it's some of the toughest 2 lb you have ever seen!
Again, all kidding aside, great job,
Jeff Huth

You got me there Jeff. One of these days I may learn to proof read before posting. Doubtful though, been 8 years and I haven't learned yet. Next tournament give me a challenge before day one so I can maybe put together 2 good days.
