Headed to Shasta as a co angler. Haven't fished up there in over 10 years. What would my 5 rods need to be rigged up to compete successfully right now currently there with our conditions right now! Thank you!

3 spinning 2 casting weapons of choice Jigs
Brown/ Purple Green pumpkin/Black green crystal/Burnt orange accent
Trailers
Cinnamon /Purple flake 221
Watermelon/ Red/Black Flake 208
Football light guards 3/8 1/2 & 3/4 oz.
If you can keep the guys in the pointy ends of the boats and keep there noses out of the FFS both of you should catch some good fish.

Shasta depends on where your anglers chooses to fish.
Sacramento arm is LMB
McCloud River arm both Spots and LMB.
Pit or Squaw Spots, LMB and a few Smallmouth.
Main lake points mostly Spots.
Agree with casting and 3 spinning.
Blue w/ chartreuse tails soft plastics.
Keitech 3.8 w/ Owner flashy
Jigs
Think winter deeper presentations.

JL, follow Jiggin for rod selection. 12lb or 10 for jigs & darter head (3/16 or 1/8) with oxblood or purple, 1/2 oz spinnerbait white and chartreuse, and float n fly (would be my topo choice these days.

) and finally Keitech's (3 to 5 inches) swimbait heads 1/8 to 1//4 should do it.
A lot will depend on your Pro as to whether he's a power guy or finesse. If you draw a guy who's into A rig, throw the keitech's, or jig if you're in 35 ft or less. drag jig. If your in the pet, float n fly, spinnerbait , keitechs and darterheads.
You should do well, Good Luck!

Yamamoto twin tails I both 4" 5"
Yamamoto single tail 5"
Cinnamon purple/ black flake 221
Watermelon red/black flake 208
I like using 5" single tails in winter months
To high light the grubs tails rub the tail or tails on single or twin tail grubs between your finger & thumb it will bring the salt to the surface and make a light outline around the edge of the grubs tail or tails.
When they swim through the water it gives off a different look to the jig.
On the brown/purple jigs I added a skirt of purple flake to match the cinnamon purple flake grubs
The watermelon 208 is for the Millerton special

If you draw the right pro just show him what you've got in jigs I'm sure he will help you when he see them
Just wait til you open the package when they get there.
