I’ve heard good things about Ben Green but your boat can’t be very old. I’ve used Skisafe, who I found through Geico for many years and I’m pretty happy with them.

I just tried to get an online quote from Ben and the oldest boat he’ll insure is a 2010. You must be an existing customer he makes an exception for.

1800bassboat has been good to me the last few years. Affordable, I’ve had one claim with no issues.

Stan and Ken Vandenberg at 1800BassBoats are good to work with. Both are bass fishermen and that helps. My boat is 29 years old no claims but easy to work with as they know your questions before you do..LOL

Ben Green is a bass angler, owns a bass boat (so knows our issues) and supports many organizations in the west.
1800bassboat!
They are a great Team to work with! I'm very pleased with them and they are worth a call!

Hello All! Thank you for the tags! Hopefully you are catching them!
I would suggest my team or 1-800 Bass Boat.
I would not suggest going direct to a carrier or educating your agent on how to protect our floating racecars that hold jewelry boxes! Here is a video Tactical Bassin made to help educate on the risks and coverage:
We have updated to show 2010 and newer. Thank you all! Have a successful and safe 2025 season!

I have had Ben Green Insurance for years. I couldn't recommend him more. Always there to answer questions and help make good decisions on options for insurance and not just on boat, trailer. Thanks Ben!

Yesterday morning at 8:15 I talked to a guy from 1800 bass boat and was told I’d get a call from Ken or Stan. I’m still waiting for a call I’m wondering if they want my business?

Monte! They are good guys at 1 800 bass boat! They have treated me right for over 20 years! Also they are bass fishermen!

I’m sure they are. I’m not unhappy with my current policy just shopping around.

And thats all you need to know right there. Ben Green is always the FIRST call to make, he and his team are helpful to a fault and understand boat, home and auto insurance coverage. My older BassCat was insured with 1800-Bass Boats and when i had a claim they were able to support me. Both or good outfits, but BEN GREEN is the first call i make, heck he may even share a fishin technique or two

Not true, I've a 2016 and requested a quote a few years ago. Z520C Ranger Boat is in immaculate shape and re-powered with a new 250hp Yamaha SHO.
- Ben Greene wasn't interested on insuring it so I moved on.
Just read an updated post by Ben Greene. Good to see they're taking on 2010 and up now.

Got a call back from Ken what a great guy! He wasn’t able to help me with a new policy but he gave me great advice on my current policy with Skisafe and the questions I need to ask them.
