So just got off the phone with C&C.......Blown Gear Case........11 grand for a new one. Just finished reviving the wife as she fainted when she heard the price. Apparently bent the prop shaft too, or vicey versa. Anyway I'm not as fortunate as the bearded one, as to availability. According to C&C its borderline about warranty. Will find out tomorrow. Either way, when I'm back on the water I'm staying away from bridges as I seem to be cursed. Oh well such is life. Hope it's ready for next weeks WWN.

11Grand for a lower unit? Is it plated with gold or something? At this point just buy a new motor then you will have warranty. Sorry for your luck man.
