If your fishing from your boats beware of hazards in the water on both Hensley lake it's at 16% the bass bite is fair for bass to 2lbs
Eastman lake is at 23% and the bass bite here is much better bass to 2 1/2 to 4 lbs
Both lake using jigs Ned baits chatterbaits spinnerbaits senkos brushogs
Night fishing has been good at Eastman

I got my boat out yesterday and clean it up but it will
be Sept before I start fishing
The reports are starting to come in and there have been some nice Bass being caught over the last month and a half. At Eastman the tanks will start showing even more now as they drop the lake more. I'm by Aug 1st they shut it off then it will pick up even more
Evening Ambush time will start.
I'm starting to build baits again slowly but it feels good to get back in the shop.

Between now and Sept I have some room to tie up some jigs and other baits.
Tom the Viper head jig are going to get used this winter a lot.
Doctors are holding me back til Sept
After that for me and the wife it's game on were hittin the lakes
